AMTELCO XDS Announces Cost-Effective VoIP Board
McFarland, WI – May 2008 – AMTELCO XDS is pleased to announce the XDS VoIP Board. This board is designed to function as a cost-effective H.100 and T1/E1 TDM to VoIP gateway. The XDS H.100 PCI VoIP board allows for 96 to 600 concurrent VoIP sessions, depending on the DSP configuration.
The XDS VoIP board includes two 1-gigabit Ethernet ports, and four T1/E1 ports with PRI, ISDN 30, and Q.SIG protocols available. The board currently supports the following encoding protocols: G.711, G.723, G.729A, G.729B, G.729A/B and G.726.
The XDS VoIP board encodes/decodes, packetizes, and routes data between the T1/E1 or H.100 bus, and the Ethernet port. Common Ethernet features are supported.
Software drivers are available for Microsoft® Windows®, XP, NT and Server, Linux, UnixWare, Solaris, Gentoo Linux 2006.0 (kernel 2.6), and Fedora Core 3 (kernel 2.6) operating systems.
